Had a bit of trouble with noise. sounded like TV horizontal sync buzz. Played
with two radios: K3 and FT480. The 480 wins on sensitivity but the noise
reduction in the K3 was enough better to make it the winner in most, esp on
CW.
219 cw and 101 on ssb. Rates were up to 180/hour on cw - fantastic.
ant: 5el at 20' looking over a 30' cliff. Never moved the antenna all weekend,
just kept it pointed east.
Next year I'll go mobile and find a quieter spot maybe in DN03, a little more
rare than CN94.
