Wild Bill was off doing comms for the Vegas to Reno race so I got the shack all
to myself - YEE HAW!!! Knew I could only part-time it as Saturday is chores
day. Got an early start on housework cuz I knew it was gonna be another hot &
humid day. Worked a little S&P on 20 til Rusty AF6WF found me then I turned the
freq over to her so I could get back to cleaning up the mess I'd made w/ the
garden blower (shop vac couldn't access the refrigerator coils well enough to
get the dust bunnies out so, in my infinite wisdom, I decided to use a more
aggressive approach...WHAT was I thinking?!?). Mostly S&P'd when I got back to
it, ended up pretty satisfied w/ my effort behind the mic despite how slow it
was. ALWAYS enjoy this contest...DON'T enjoy chores (or the havoc I create
doing them!). Notes to self: Spring cleaning should NOT be done in the
heat/humidity of a mid-August day - NEVER on a contest weekend - and, for God's
sake, leave the garden blower outside!
