Comments:
Right out of the gate, one of the K-3's wasn't working right. Signals on 20M
were totally overloading the radio. Was still able to work people, but it was
a struggle the entire time. Fortunately, it worked better on 40 and 80. Had
problems with one of the amps with about 30 minutes to go, so did 80M high
power and 40M barefoot. Not much going on on 40M in the last half hour
anyway.
Nice to snag W0HXB for the rare NE mult, Pete's QSO #25. Also found AB and UT
mults late in the contest. No Carribean mults, no VT,ME,RI,VA,KY,AR,ID and
only two Canadian mults VE3 and VE6. Kind of slim pickings.
Lots of GMCC participation. I got a clean sweep of the GM Ski bums team which
included K07X, KR7C, W0HXB, K0UK, N0TA, KT0A, K0RF, and W0ETT.
Fun contest as always.
