Icom PRO III, SteppIR DB-18 @ 50'
Had a visitor who wanted to see what the contesting is all about. He worked a
few QSOs and was very pleased at the operation. He asked if we could do it
again, and the ARRL 10M contest seems like a perfect opportunity for him to
work out on SSB and me on CW. So maybe we will do that contest as a M/S also.
I didn't want to turn the antenna in the midst of Sandy's winds here at Va Bch,
so pointed into North East and worked away mostly at EU. Did chance a few JA's
and Pacific stations late in the day on Saturday. But it was a very
