Comments:

After just 20.5 hours in this one, I'm wiped out -- nothing as tiring as
listening to over-stuffed phone bands. But I feel pretty good, too, because I
got the sweep for a second consecutive year, broke through 1,000 Qs by a wide
margin, and added 83,000 to my 2008 high-power previous best.

Didn't go in with a goal, except to press hard. I did that in the first several
hours, which included a 200+ run on 10M out of the gate.

That was followed by a 132 run on 15M, then 106 on 20M before I had to go to
40M. At that point, the wonderful 100+ hours fell into the abyss, with the only
other 100+ hour at 1500z Sunday morning.

Closed the first night at 0830z with 570 Qs and 77 mults, needing ND, ID, MT,
ONE, QC and SK.

Was back at it at 1445z, and got 'em all except ID fairly quickly in the
morning. Wasn't until almost 2030z that an ID station called in -- then I
worked three more on 20M and 40M over the next few hours.

With the broom put away, I was able to loaf along not worrying about whether I
needed to be sweeping the bands. Packed it in with 200,000 points in the log,
and skipped the final hour as 20M rate was down to nothing and 40M was just a
soup of audio already strained for Qs.

10M was the mult band (only because it was first); 20M was the overall rate
band.

Kudos to IL, MDC and VA for filling up so much of the log in BC -- great
turnouts! Worked multiples of everything except singles for PAC and PR.

Special thanks to VY1EI and VE8GER for the NT mult -- always a wonderful relief
to hear them in the headphones.

Hope to see everyone next weekend for the all-out best weekend of the year,
CQWW CW.
