Comments:

After enjoying the contest last year so much and being amazed on how much you
can do with qrp, my fantasies crashed to Earth this year with the so called
conditions. I was looking at a prop report via the internet during the test
and it said that 10 meters was normal. If that is normal, I hesitate to meet
a normal family. They probably have two kids in prison and do orgies on
weekends.

Things I learned running qrp this year.
1. If the signal is not moving my s meter to at least s5, they aren't going
to hear you.
2. Even though the DX is loud long path, they ain't going to hear you
either.
3. I am convinced that IMI is part of the exchange due to large numbers of IMI
replies when I called someone.
4. Backscatter is a figment of my imagination.

A GIGANTIC THANK YOU for the people who dug my call out of the abyss.

For those who said last year's conditions were great, you need to think back.
Although DX was certainly better, the USA had the same spotlight conditions.
As an OT, I can actually remember when the DX was strong and stable and USA
was open in the usual east to west path during the day. This year AND last
year were not good years for 10 meters. It gets me to appreciate more what we
had during past sunspot cycles, but would it be to much to just give a couple
of days with great SFI numbers and low A and K numbers? Really, Santa, I've
been good! Merry Christmas!
