Had to work hard to get the QSO's since the band was up and down. I only had one
good run to the maritimes/NE US, got the qso rate up to 159 qso/hr but it did
not last very long. The propagation was mostly over the US but did get some
good sporadic E during the last few hours and picked up AB, SK, ID, MT, and WA.
Heard only one W6 but he could not hear me. Sigs from Alaska and PEI were
consistantly 20db over 9, unfortunately the rest were down at the S5-7 level.
Thanks to all for making it a good contest in spite of the poor propagation.
Looking forward to seeing you for the RAC contest later this month.
