Comments:
First, thanks for all the QSO's. I have to say this contest started slow but
then the high bands picked up fairly nicely. The biggest surprise for me was
how poorly I performed on 40M. I got dry CQ after dry CQ after dry CQ there,
where 40M is usually a high performer from here. The second biggest surprise
was that I was able to work much on 160M since I was using an 80M inverted-vee
as an antenna on 160. My hat is off to the 49 folks who copied my signal on
top band as it must have been very, very weak. One of the characteristics of
this contest is moving guys around among bands, and while some were readily
agreeable, I was surprised at the number of folks who just refused to move.
All-in-all, it was fun though, and I had a good time except for the intense QRN
on 80 and 160.
