Had a good time and handily surpassed my goal - to beat my Aug 2012 NAQP score
of 180+ Qs. Started 25 mins late due to child care chores then S&P for first
hour as I tried to see if 10 was open. Loud signals on 10m, but too few and I
had better, but still slow, rate on 15m. Pretty much stayed there and ran most
of the day and then migrated to 20m as the afternoon waned. 20m picked up faily
well and I had some decent runs. I was torn between searching for mults or to
keep running. In the end I ran and let everyone come to me and picked up
pretty much everything I would have otherwise. Not too many 1-land stations
and missed many provinces - where were they?
Had to pull the plug 40 mins before my time limit of 10hrs, but I had reached a
nice round number so I was happy.
Equipment: Icom 7000 and Mosley Pro-57-b-40 at 20m.
