WOW!!!! Was that fun or what!! I have only been a real fan of 160 for about 5
years or so, but I have NEVER heard such strong signals from Europe! It was
great. I even had new Eu mults call ME while I was running along working USA. I
spent WAY too much time chasing the Eu instead of simply running, but it was
just too much fun (and challenging) to work all the great DX. In the end my
score was better than last years score by 20,000 and I had 100 less QSOs.
Managed 79 10 point QSOs, by far my best showing. Thanks to my neighbor Tim,
N3QE, for encouraging me to stay up till 0200Z for the European sunrise on the
second night. I was just too tired the first night to stay up past 0100Z.

Pennant RX antenna directed at Europe
Thanks to all the guys who stuck with me. I only have a single Pennant to
Europe, no other RX antenna for South or West. Maybe next year.
