Only wanted to test UCXlog-software for its nice feature to key CW on the K2 via
CAT-line which isnÂ't supported by N1MM.
Found surprising activity - so much that the Multi-Tx/SO2R-disease was out in
force: Worst case was a UW...-station CQing with 30 dB over S9 but not
responding to three callers on his frequency. The others qsyed and I listened
another 5 seconds to the silence on the "run"-frequency. To prove that he was
not unable to hear me but unable to cope with two actions simultaneously I
launched a CQ. Guess what: Of course he could hear me: "DL8MBS 599...". Earned
him a "hi hi" and I qsyed without answering and logging him. I think it is
unfair to let the callers on the run-frequency pay with their time for
struggling with SO2R or discussing with another op who can transmit now.
Strange 10m: Silence in the morning (with my "antenna") but a 25dB over S9
UA8A. Go figure.
