Comments:
Louisiana QSO Party is same weekend. Have won category for 7 of last 8 years.
Invited WM5H to come and operate before I realized the RTTY contest was taking
place. Split my normal SO2R setup and gave him the left operating position for
the LAQP contest. Will probably take category again this year - Thanks, Bobby.
Only my 2nd "major" rtty contest. Still learning - experimenting with message
content and timing. Also tried ESM mode - great when timing is right. With
other commitments and interruptions, I only managed about 9 ish hours on the
air. Made lots of notes on what NOT to do next time. This is a very fun mode
and I expect to start doing much better with a little more practice.
