FT-857D + 3x811 at 450w + small vertical
Just a single band entry.
Propagation was not too bad. Worked 4 EU countries plus heard one more what is
generally rather difficult on 80m from here, had both - evening and morning
openings to EU. It was rather noisy in the evening due to local (?) noise in
some parts of the band, I most likely missed a few DX stations around that
time.
I wish there was more activity on 80 from JA, UA0 and Asia. Band was open well
in that direction and many reasonably strong stations from there were running
100w or less.
Nice DX contest, no local contacts from here, all stations worked were rather
remote from west coast.
