Comments:
Another fabulous radio contest weekend! Simply amazing results from the USA
Multi Multi stations this past weekend. A close race once again! Congrats to
all of the Multi Multi teams with very impressive scores from W3LPL, K1LZ, NQ4I
and WK1Q. It is really amazing what happens in 48 hours of radio contesting with
a shack full of radios and friends - how close the scores are at the end! The
top two USA MM station in this contest broke the existing USA MM record for
ARRL DX CW! Pretty amazing stuff given the solar flux.
The operators at K3LR really pushed hard and made the most of the radio
conditions. Note the operator list for each band below. Each operator is a DX
contest veteran who contributed to excellent results on the bands they
operated. Five band DXCC this time! Special hatâ??s off to Greg, N3SD who has
worked the over night shift at K3LR for many years. He puts in long hours,
sometimes with only a few QSOs.
As always, thanks to my good friend Dave, W9PA who put in tons of hours working
on many projects at K3LR to get us ready and keep us going. Thanks for all of
your help and inspiration Dave! Also thanks to Greg, W8WWV for his help on
several projects that continue to improve our station capabilities.
