Aether Log / K3 / wires in palm trees
Conditions were consistently good for me across the bands on both days: decent
propagation with low noise.
All but two of my Qs were S&P; never could get a successful run going on any
band, making the fact that I ran across a 5w station in the Ukraine holding a
frequency on 40m all the more impressive.
I had RF issues on 40m, which were occasionally shutting down my computer and
locking my keyboard. Apologies to those stations with whom I was unable to
complete the contact as a result of everything locking up mid QSO.
Excellent ops across the board (many thanks), particularly IK4DCX and CN8WW who
were very patient with getting my call correct.
For the multi-op stations, please coordinate whether you are going to send "K"
or "KW" and stick with it across all ops on all bands; getting a "K" on 15m and
then "KW" on 40m several hours later really makes you start to wonder if the K
should have been a KW etc. Maybe the ARRL will accept either one, so from a
scoring perspective it may not matter, but in any event, consistency would make
things go smoother.
