Comments:
I am not sure, but this could be a first. maybe someone has experimented, but
this was our first fully remote multi op effort.
N6ML remoting one op position from his qth,
N6WM remoting the other op position from his qth.
both rigs at K6LRG. both produced a fairly equal amount of q's
NO humans present at the station!
beleive it or not.. we spent alot of this contest running 50-60 watts out of
concern for some lesser quality isolation filters in place.
Station performed outstanding. Years of work by team LRG paying off!
Outstanding team effort. we may not have broken any records, but just a flat
out impressive performance by station and crew. well orchestrated.
It is always a great time to work with N6ML on using the station in a contest
rather than preparing it for one! bands- marginal traction on 10 otherwise
mostly seemed ok.
Rigs- K/3's X2 low low power.
N6WM using a K3/0 at qth. (not sure if N6ML was in twin mode from his QTH)
Elecraft KAT500 tuners X 2 matching what needed matching
both systems leveraging the fully functional N6ML Remote operating
environment.
Antennas :
10 - hygain 103ba
15- force12 ef415 (with 3 functional elements) maintenance pending
20 - hygain 204ba (with 3 functional elements) maintenance pending
40 - cushcraft 402cd
80 - inverted L wire
