Comments:
This another WQ6X ad-hoc portable operation from the Phoenix Lodge.
As usual, I ran the ICOM 7000 into a pair of parallel ham sticks 4mh.
Where was the 80 & 20 meter action this contest? 15 & 40 were great.
Despite a K-Index of 1, the last 4 hours had an INCREDIBLE amount of noise.
Stations need to respect the corridor around 14.100 to allow the beacons to be
heard. Being on the same frequency, K6TU gave competition to the W6WX beacon
overpowering it.
