Comments:

Considering the other contests running at the same time, there was fair
activity. Have seen it much busier in the past, but more and more contests
means more and more competition for contest players. Lots of choices for radio
weekend fun.

Luckily we slid in just before the big CME hit at 0600z. Bands were feeling
the
effect early but still held up fairly well, as they slid down.

20m held up just barely long enough to get 40 open here in the west. Close call
this time of year.

Thanks once again to Tom K7RI for the use of his station. He interrupted his
BARTG RTTY entry to let me run the sprint for 4 hours.

congratulations to K8MR on a whole new class of contest entry (see his
listing).

And great to hear K4XS back in the saddle from FL, after years of KH7XS
mastery.

A hearty THANK YOU to all the low number newbies and part time folks who,
hearing the action, jumped in to make a few Qs. Activity seemed better than in
2012, and thanks to the new guys and gals who were in there playing... it makes
a big difference.
