About an hour into the contest, 20 meters failed on the quad. Don't know what
happened, but I'll be on the tower soon to find out...:-(
Cruddy conditions on Friday and Saturday improved slightly on Sunday, but as a
whole, it certainly wasn't the most enjoyable weekend I've spent contesting.
Maybe better luck next year.
This was my first contest with the new K3, and I am happy with the radio.
Conditions being what they were, I'm sure I was finding and working stations
that were weak and in the noise much more easily that I did with the Yaesu
rigs. This rig just *sounds* good...:-)
