Comments:
Oldtimers party on Friday afternoon but I couldn't sleep and started on
disturbed condx with ringing signals. Not much DX so I chased EU prefixes
until 7 AM local. Stayed on low badns for double points. High bands after 4
hours sleep were difficult with weak signals and absent 10 m propagations.
Rare DX were easy as most of the ops just called CQ. I tried few runs but
S&P with RBN was more productive. My very old TH6DXX showed some
intermittent problems even with direct feed and needs thorough repair on the
top of the roof of 4 stories appartment. 40L2 feedline also broken. I
considered HP with 1 kW QRO and even programmed CW Expert robot but refrained
on traditional routine. It was fun in challenging props so I stayed full 36
hours. Dull it isn't in retirement thanks to the best scientific hobby of 21st
century!
