Comments:
Lack of a 40 meter antenna to the west coast really noticeable. Still using only
the low Cushcraft 2 element yagi, pointed to the NE. The sigs from the west
coast are weak and watery, and I'm the same out there. Managed to work N3ZZ,
N6RO, K6-Locust, and WA6URY as the only left coasters tonight on 40.
Heard K6VVA nice and loud on 80 but got beat out at the very end.
Sure did get beat out a lot tonight on jump balls on 40 and 80.
Tnx to KW8N, K8MR, KU8E,and N8EA for the only 3 banders.
Five minute segments: 9, 8, 9, 9, 7, and a difficult 5 the last five minutes.
Tnx to K4VRT in FL for a contact. Please come back often.
Congrats to many on FB scores.
Got this posted a little late as caught the fourth quarter of the Spurs/Heat
game. Nice win, San Antonio!
73, Jim N3BB
