Comments:

Thank goodness for rovers and for a Sunday 6m opening to parts of EM/DM/DN-land.
Plus local activity in WI and IL was pretty darn good. So that kept things
moving along on bands like 144, 222, 432, 902 and 1296 MHz.

6m and 2m ops, come out and play in the CQ WW VHF Contest on July 20-21.

More info about V/U contests (including a full calendar) is at kc9bqa.com.
Look for 3 posts dated May 27th, 2013. Spend a few minutes going thru those 3
posts. If anything you read can help you motivate hams in your area to do more
on VHF/UHF, by all means, help yourself. KC9BQA.com is all about increasing
on-air V/U activity.
