Comments:
It was great to dust off all of the 160 gear after a few months of being on
other freqs doing other projects. I even put up a 700' 160 degree beverage
Saturday afternoon after looking at the amazing QRN ( 166,000 strikes per unit
datum!! ) that was to the west in the CONUS on satellite and radar. Without the
beverage anyone to the south would probably not have been heard here with the
S9++ QRN on the vertical which limited RX to the west. A far cry from the
SPTBDC 6 months ago.... But we Topbanders do like a challenge don't we?
Also nice to work the usual suspects and see that everyone ( including the
band ) is still kicking.
