Comments:

This was just supposed to be a casual operation to help build some of my 80m
DXCC totals for 5BDXCC. I had gotten the 80m trap on the 160m inverted L, so I
figured I was ready to go.

The trouble started when I went to set up the Acer for use in the contest. I've
detailed my woes there on my blog:
http://boringhamradiopart.blogspot.com/2013/05/the-reason-i-hate-windows.html.
Suffice it to say that I lost operating time Friday evening and two hours of
the Saturday morning band openings.

Conditions in the mid-spring aren't great for 80m propagation. I did manage to
work and confirm a couple more countries for 80m DXCC. Many stations merely
CQ'd in my face. This would probably be easier with more than 100w. While I do
have an amp, it is currently not at the micro-shack. Perhaps I'll have to do
that before this fall.

During the day, I handed out contacts on the high bands, which was loads of
fun.
