Comments:
Limited time as usual. Started late on 20 meters and worked it until signals
got scarce. All bands had heavy QRN but it was especially rough on 160 and 80
meters. Still, it is a fun test.
My old nemesis, K0VBU, was lurking around the contest and the confusion was
evident on the low bands as many stations kept calling me K0VBU. Actually,
Bill and I are old friends since our Novice days in the late 50s and we both
enjoy contesting.
A shout out to K0OU who was QRP and plugging along pretty good on the low
bands. Good to see other KCCC members in the fray.
Thanks to all who pulled me out of the noise...especailly on 160. My inverted
L is having feedline problems and doesn't always want to work so well even with
low power.
See everybody next year...hopefully without the QRN.
73,
Russ - K0VXU
