Comments:
Worked all states except ND, RI, IA and NE. All Canadian prefixes except the
NWT, YUKON, NANAVUT and PEI. Surprised me at what 100 watts will do into a
Tarheel mobile antenna. May put the linear in a closet!
Had some good runs on 15, 20 and 40. Sat on 3.526 for quite a while getting
answers to my CQs. 10 was fun to have it open at the start. Worked several DX
stations that called in. CM, FG, F, XE, IK1, LZ, YU and a UA4. 20 was both
long and short as I worked TX and LA to my surprise. Was glad to QSO Gator
N5RZ along with N4PN, K4BAI and John N6MU. Many states had multiple operations
going on. Seems LA was more active than I remember in past years. Always fun
to log several AK and HI stations. Only one request to move. Must be fewer
Multi op stations in the test nowadays.
Happy to be a part of the Georgia Team GCG #1. Hope I contributed to the team
with my mobile score.
Thanks to all for a fun day and evening on the radio. Some FB ops in this
contest.
