Comments:
Had only intended to get on and dip my toe in the waters of my first ever WAE
CW, but after a while it was infectious. I think I did an SSB one a few years
back and what got me was the feeling you were on a sled/sleigh/skiis sliding
down a mountain in the alps with no way to stop or steer, except for minor
corrections by the rider !
It was this way with me. I press the button and off it went. I was not even
sure where to look on the screen at times to ensure the right stuff was being
sent, nor where to look heaven-forbid someone need a correction, but I got it
figured out just in time for the first repeat I needed to make.
The enter key, CRTL-Z and the "=" key were the only "new"
keys I had to learn, hi hi !
I apologize to the Sweded I worked early on. I think the QSO is gone, but all
the QTC's are there.
Had some brain issues early on and with the equipment too......After a short
while I called stations, who were all weak on the wrong antenna and never made
a QSO for quite some time. Hopefully the log checkers won't ding me for a
short break, hi !
