This is another portable operation from the Phoenix Lodge running an ICOM-7000
into an MFJ Apartment antenna modified with a 20-m hamstick. Pointing the
antenna out the west window I had virtually no access to points N-E (for
Tennessee) so its amazing I was able to make contact with K4TCG at all.
I had nearly forgotten about TNQP until 22:30z when I started looking for
4-land stations. I no sooner made a contact when my beeper went off for an
emergency client.
