Comments:
Considering conditions this year, this weekend was pretty good. Good openings
on 10m both days, but could have used more activity on that band. Band was
open to a lot of areas with no activity. Balun on 15m yagi failed on Sat
afternoon during a run. Oh well, it was on the list to replace the balun and
feedline anyway since it is 20 years old. Just had time to operate 21 hours
out of 48, and then was also in & out a lot. Enjoyed working the JA boys
on 10 & 40.
Looks like the hobby is getting older...average op age seems to be going up!
Nice to work a couple guys in the 90's and one 18 year old...Kudos to those
guys.
Wish I could have put in more time and got 2M+ points. Maybe next year if 10m
holds out. Thanks for the Q's guys...73 from Georgia.
