Comments:
First time operating a contest from my new QTH. Just a wire antenna at 60 feet.
Operated 10 meters only, unassisted, and had a ball. Band was in GREAT shape
for me, with lots of LOUD europeans in the morning and lots of JA's in the
afternoon. Even with just the wire antenna, I felt like I did OK. Big surprise
when ES9C called me in the middle of running JA's in the afternoon. Almost all
of the time spent with S & P and the band is wide enough there wasn't bad
QRM. Best I have heard 10 meters in a decade.
Thanks for all the Q's. Next year my tower will be up and I will really get to
try out the new QTH.
