It was a fun/portable operation using my KX3 barefoot to a sloping wire up a
tree.
I didn't expect to work many stations but I just wanted to see how far I could
get with 10 Watts on an end-fed wire. I was pleasantly surprised with my
successes and took the failures in stride -- some folks just couldn't hear me
as well as I heard them!
What this operation proved to me was that I need at least a dipole and 100
Watts to garner a respectable score.
But I'm thankful to those stations that dug me out of the din... 73
