Comments:
For me, 10m was the place to be in the 2013 Phone SS contest, and 15m was not
far behind! For awhile I had a pipeline into MDC, VA, and NC.
As for sections, I came up short on multipliers missing UT, NL, and PR for the
sweep. Late Saturday evening, 75m was very productive in finding section
multipliers where I logged most of the W5, W6, W7, and W0 mults I needed. Did
hear a UT calling someone else on 75m but never found him CQing. Sunday, I
heard a PR station on 20m operating a Special Events station with a big signal
and pileup who worked about 20 lucky guys while I called/listened. It would
have been great if a couple of the PR contest guys could have been turned loose
to run sweepstakes contacts for the Special Event station; they would have had
a lot of fun!
Anyway, thanks to the ops who activated the rare mults!
