Comments:
Well the highlight of the contest was seeing a spot for XZ1J on 12 and working
him. Besides that, the bands were noisy and after Saturday night it was hard
to find new stations while S/P and even harder to find an open frequency to
call CQ.
I did learn that there is a protected AM band segment on the upper part of 40M
and that if the carriers don't push you away, a rude guy comes on to finish the
job.
It's hard to stay focused after making the sweep, which was done with PR on
Sunday morning. Lots of short 15 min breaks and distractions. Made over half
the q's before shutting down the first night.
