- Great conditions!
- I spent most of Saturday on 10M
- Spiderbeam about 30' high: 20M, 15M, 10M;
- Assortment of vertical Wire Loops suspended from trees, tuned as needed using
450ohm ladder line, then brought into shack via buried coax. Icom 756PII,
Ameritron AL811h with 562B tubes and QSK T/R Switch. K9AY loop on 40M/80M.
This is the first DX contest I've used the K9AY, it is much better than my
transmit antennas, I'm planning to try the HI-z Triangle for receive, next.
