Fun contest...  The antenna was my 80 meter dipole with extra wire to make it
resonate at 160 Meters.  The apex is at 50 feet and the ends are maybe 8 to 10
feet off of the ground.  It does seem to work fairly well.  I could hear better
than most it seemed, at least I could hear more than I could work with 1KW.  The
built-in tuner for the IC-PW1 amplifier did the job for the entire CW part of
the band.  I'm debating whether I should build a 160 Meter vertical or stay
with this dipole...(but then I would need to put up another tower or mast to
support an 80 meter antenna.)
