Comments:
Operated Single-Op, unassisted. Picked up 117 QSOs on Saturday in 4.5 hours;
another 107 on Sunday in 3.75 hours. Spent most of my operating time in S&P
mode. Tried to run a couple of times but 100w and an omni-directional antenna
make it difficult to do so.
Best rate obtained was 40 QSOs in the first hour on Sunday morning (1230-1330
UTC). Many of those 40 were new multipliers as well. Ended up 52 countries and
28 states/regions. Best DX heard was a VK4 later on Saturday afternoon, but was
unable to catch him through the pile-up. V55V was another pile-up generator
that I was unable to punch through.
Enjoyed operating the contest and am looking forward to next year's already;
hopefully props won't drop to badly a year from now.
