This was a slow grind for me. I didn't have many QSOs after about 6 hours -
surprised - had to check my signal hi hi. I wasn't able to get any real rate
going. Spent most of my time pouncing and trying to get a CQ going. My goal
was 500+. Next month should be deeper. I was surprised I couldn't get the
LP into EU or East Coast going? Most heard me OK when pouncing. It's usually
active when not in contest etc. 55-59 signals etc. I think I might have been
on top off or near someone small that I couldn't hear perhaps? If it wasn't
for the mountain blocking my NE direction. That's how it goes. I only had a
few EU.. split pretty much JA / NA.
Anyway, had fun - always do. Thank you for the contacts and look forward to
next month. Big Station on Oahu running the W1AW/KH6 during that contest.
Should be big!
