Comments:
This may have been my personal best. I straightened few more coiled radials for
40 m ground and it seemed to help vertical quite a bit, and cranked up tower
with 80 m inv V on it, tower still does not have rotor or other antennas, just
supporting 80 m dipole when I extend it. I feel much louder on 80 than on 40,
which is good sign once 40 m yagi goes up on it, hopefully in few weeks.
40 was very noisy in beginning, but improved after 1st 10 mins. I seem to have
some intermittent issue on 2nd station either on FT1000MP or Alpha or 40 m
vertical (which is really stepper vertical without control lines connected), as
it seemed like there was no antenna few times when returning to receive from
transmit. I suspect antenna as it already had similar issues on 80 which did
not recover.
Always fun, tnx for QSOs and HNY everyone !
