Comments:
FT1000MP, 100W, dipole, inverted vee, tee vertical. Coax has come off the beam.
Using an 88' cf zepp on 20. Worked K4XU just before start. Heard other west
coast stations. Couldn't get any answers on 20. 40M was fair. 80M and 160M
had very high static level. Band of thunderstorms just west of us and moving
this way. No one on 160M could hear me except W1NN. Hal, your signal was
about 400 Hz high when you called me and I had to be about 400 Hz low for you
to hear me on 160M. So, your RIT or off-set may be out of adjustment. This
may be my lowest score ever for a full 30 minute NS outing. Not for lack of
