Neighborhood noise was worst I have heard. 10 over S9 of buzz and frying bacon
noise. Just could not hear much at all. Tried a little bit each night. I think
I worked all the big guns that could make it through my blanket of noise.
That's life on a city lot and short antennas and RF pollution running rampant.
100 watts to a W8AMZ 160m shortened half sloper, and a Alpha Delta DX-LB. Both
antennas at about 35' apex.
