Kenwood TS-950SD, Heil ProSet with HC-5 element, and a 102 ft. "home
brew" G5RV
"flat top" up 50 feet running N-S at an elevation of 6,053 feet in
Cheyenne, WY.
Ten Meters was dead, and 15 Meters not much better, but still a "personal
best" for my 7QP efforts. Lots of folks clueless with the contest
exchange, (out of order and non-7 land ops wanting to tell me their county)All
in all I had a blast! This is a fun contest for a SOLP "Little
Pistol" station. Thanks to all for the Q's. I had 14 hrs. and 50 min. of
"ON" time, and 3 hrs. and 50 min. of "OFF" time, resulting
in 937 contacts. Next year, I'll shoot for 1,000 Q's.
