Comments:
That was bit better than other 2 sessions today. But all further signals on 80
were very weak, mostly worked only few West coast stations there. 40 m played
quite well, my new 40 m 2 el yagi will probably still come down one more time
for some further adjustments before rotor goes on it in few weeks. Now using 2
element yagis on each 40-10 meters and inverted V on 80, all about 70-80 ft high
on 2 crank-up towers. More aluminum is still on ground... Fires today got
about 1 mile away here, SD county has been burning all over past 2 days. And
we are nowhere near fire season yet. It will be crazy/scary summer indeed !
