K3 at 5 watts to a broad-band inv vee up 57' at the apex, fed with home brew
ladder line, or a 74' dipole fed with commercial window line up at 50'. Had a
new record # of Q's tonight at 39, what fun, with dupes and all. Signals were
loud or non-existant. k4bai, John, thanks for Q's on 3 bands, you were
pounding in here tonight. Many others on two bands. My wires are back up to
the 50'+ range for the first time since the antenna poles came down in a winter
storm in Feb. I do believe it helped a bunch to raise them back up, time will
