Comments:
Severe slow moving thunderstorms forced QRT Sunday afternoon with almost 4 hours
left on the clock. Was about to go back on the air at 2300Z to recapture at
least one hour when the power went out and stayed out until after the contest
ended. Sigh! The record was in sight...maybe next year!
Why guys stil have dirty signals is a mystery to me. One LY7 station looked
about 2-3 Khz wide on the scope. Most signals are sharp peaks, his looked like
Mt Fuji and sounded like it. Another offender was one of the southern Carib
stations. Do they do it intentionally to clear guys off, or is it ignorance?
