First cw wpx and first attempt at cw without a reader - yep still a cw novice.
6 months ago on cqww only managed to head decode 6 calls, this time it was 133.
So overall happy with the improvement - a huge way to go though given some
calls I couldn't even get a character!
When you can only really copy calls that are in the mid 20s wpm (after multiple
attempts), no flutter, fairly strong that limits your pool of S&P contacts.
The result was lots of US 1pt-ers, which helped my ARRL QP points, but not much
help otherwise - so a low score. Thanks to those who send at a reasonable
speed :)
10m was pretty much deserted, except for ZL1AIH who was 59+ on saturday
afternoon. Spent most time bouncing between 15 and 20.
ATNOs from A65CA, FK8DD and 4Z4AK; missed out on the BG9 for a new zone - just
didn't hear me at all.
