Comments:
Conditions wasn't very good at the start of the contest. My rates was not very
high. 40m was without NA opening. Saturday morning was magic: any antenna
direction produced QSOs from any part of the world. When I was confused, I
decided to use "universal direction". I rotated antenna to 0 degrees.
And it worked, nice runs from NA and JA, but also SA and EU... 20m and 15m
wasn't still opened after first 6-hours break. 10m with only few stations. I
tried to move from 15m to 80m to had rates over 50 QSO/h. But later evening
brought nice opening on 20m. Night on low bands was full of EU stations. I
tried 10m and 15m on Sunday morning, good rates, but with only few non EUs.
Better part of contest was Sunday evening: good CONDX on 15m and 20m. I decided
to spend last 4,5 hours of test on 20m with a lot of 3 points QSOs.
Fortunately, my setup is stable, so this contest was with no gifts from Mr.
Murphy, hi.
Congratulation especialy to EU Top Ten, their results are too far from my
"tribander-wire" antenna setup score...
Thanks to all participants!
