Just on for a few Q's Sunday AM early. First Q was W100AW, nice way to start!
Puzzled why I was so weak on 40M, was hearing fine but only the strongest heard
me. After 20 minutes of feeling depressed about my signal, noticed my tuner was
still set up for 80M on the doublet and I was now working on the nicely tuned
40M trombone on the SteppIR - d'oh! Clicked the off button on the tuner and
next Q was a VK. So many ways to mess up!
Got on 20 for the last hour - about 1/3 of the Q's were HQ stations - thanks
for getting on guys!
Only worked a few WRTC stations - suspect they were focused on EU. Fun to
watch the real-time scoreboard - congrats to the winners!
