Comments:

This contest is always fun, and a learning experience. Several years ago, I had
my highest Q count which unfortunately gave my lowest score - just not enough
mults. I did a 180 and rather than running, I focused on chasing mults by
S&P. Even with less Q's, the score went up - but only so much. I had to
find a balance.

This year, I was able to keep the Q count at a moderate level and had the
highest # of mults ever. I saw the score jump by almost 25%. I still have a
long way to go, but this one lets me take what is learned at CTU and from AA5AU
in rtty contests, and apply it in ways that produce positive results. This will
continue to be one of my favorites.

Congrats also to the participants and sponsors of WRTC2014. For years,
these guys have worked to produce one of the best "Olympics of
Radiosport", and they certainly pulled it off. Congrats to all.

73,
Mark, K5ER
