Comments:

Have been QRT since July from latest round of lightning strikes. Got the
external antennas for the Sprint bands working with help from AB5K, but no
beverages at all. Was not able to get the internal stuff sorted out yet.
Hard-wired stuff the station for the three Sprint bands. It worked fine on 20
and 40 but very hard to hear anything on 80 with only the transmit antennas and
no beverages. Things got better later but a storm closed in toward the end with
very high QRN. All in all, very rusty but nice to get back on.

Virtually zero activity for the past six months due to various storm damages
from wind (June) and lightning (October and July), plus working on the WRTC
book. Congrats to the terrific scores. Heard a VE2 (working N9RV) but the VE2
freaked out and took off when a bunch of us called him. Heard an IA only once
and out of sequence. There are a LOT of mults that are on with only one
station. It's easy to come up short. Very impressive mult numbers and QSO
numbers for the top guys in this Sprint. WOW. Congrats.
