Comments:
Our first QSOs were around 8:30 PM local Saturday night. We had a power outage
from 17Z-22Z on Saturday and then spent another 2 hours getting the equipment
set up in the N2NT VHF shack. We missed the brief 6m opening to Florida.
Nice tropo during the final hours of the contest. N4QWZ was easy copy on 144
and 222, but unfortunately our 25 watts on 222 didn't make the 700+ mile path.
Some more power on 222 is the next incremental improvement.
Nice to work K8MR and several others from PVRC land that are also regulars in
HF contest logs.
